Ambius Takes Home 12 Awards from Plantscape Industry Expo

logoAmbius recently received special recognition at the Plantscape Industry Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The company received 12 awards recognizing a variety of aspects in the company.

The awards went to sales consultants and designers for their designs, including: a living green wall on a two-story cruise ship that utilized bamboo, palm trees and tall grasses; a 2,400-square-foot concrete patio deck in an office building providing a tropical respite with silk and replica foliage plants, and a holiday display in a commercial building complete with 1,000 origami paper cranes and stars surrounded by birch branches, potted redwoods and Japanese wrapping papers.

The awards included:

  • Denise Eichmann accepted three awards, including:
    • Living Wall – Cummins Inc. Parking Structure (Award of Excellence)
    • Major Renovation – Royal Caribbean Cruises Rhapsody of the Seas Ship Revitalization (Award of Excellence)
    • Living Green Wall – Starwood Hotels and Resorts Vertical Garden Systems (Award of Excellence)
  • Laura Burns-Lambert accepted three awards, including:
    • Major Renovation – Stonestown Galleria (Award of Merit)
    • Special Event & Holiday – Commonwealth Partners (Award of Merit)
    • Special Event & Holiday – Cushman & Wakefield (Award of Excellence)
  • Jon LaDow accepted two awards, including:
    • Major Renovation – CBRE 475 14th Street (Award of Excellence)
    • Special Event & Holiday – Tishman Speyer – 1 Bush Holiday ’12 (Award of Excellence)
  • Debbie Weaver accepted two awards, including:
    • Special Event & Holiday – General Growth Properties Baybrook Mall (Award of Excellence)
    • Silk, Replica and Preserved – Insperity (Award of Merit)
  • Patti Moody accepted an award for Design – Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas (Award of Merit)
  • Joanne Craft accepted an award for Horticultural Service – Telus Atrium (Award of Excellence)
