Updated Feb 19, 2013

As Kubota begins to celebrate 40 years in the United States, this Osaka, Japan-based equipment manufacturer announces it has sold 1.5 million Kubota units in America.

Kubota sold the 1.5-millionth unit to Jeremy Nafziger at his B.N. Excavating business located in Marietta, Pennsylvania. Nafziger purchased a Kubota M Series ag/utility tractor for his agricultural, commercial and residential excavating business. “I’ll be using my new Kubota tractor for mostly mowing and snow removal,” Nafziger explains.

Kubota Tractor Corporation began marketing in the United States in 1972, with an initial introduction of a 12-horsepower, compact tractor.  Kubota Tractor Corporation, Torrance, California, is the U.S. marketer and distributor of Kubota-branded equipment. For more information, visit kubota.com.
