One internationally known landscape designer and architect will be speaking at his old stomping grounds.

Former student, Paul Comstock, will be the featured speaker and special honoree at UCLA’s Extension graduation program on June 25.

The ceremony marks the enrollments in certificate programs at UCLA Extension, and across the country, as working professionals.

Comstock earned his professional certificate in landscape architecture of UCLA Extension in 1988 and is best known for his landscape designs at Walt Disney Imagineering for 16 years.

He was the chief landscape architect and designer of Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida and was a project-wide director of landscape design for the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
