PERC to Host First Propane Autogas Test Drive at Work Truck Show

For those landscapers on the fence about using propane, the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) is here to help.

The organizations will be providing the first dedicated propane autogas test drive event at this year’s NTEA Green Truck Summit and Work Truck Show from March 4-7 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Propane Autogas Ride & Drive will begin at 12 p.m. March 4, and continue through March 6, outside the Maryland Motor Lobby at the Indianapolis Convention Center.

Concurrent with the Green Truck Ride-and-Drive, the Propane Autogas Ride & Drive is open to all Green Truck Summit and Work Truck Show attendees.

In 2013, propane autogas sales reached an all-time high as established original equipment manufacturers (OEM) produced record numbers of dedicated propane autogas vehicles.

Class 1-6 propane-autogas-fueled trucks and vans will be available for test drives from OEMs including: Roush CleanTech as a Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier, General Motors and Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. in partnership with CleanFuel USA, Isuzu Commercial Truck of America Inc., and ICOM North America.
