Boss Snowplow has introduced the HTX Straight-Blade Plow series for half-ton and light-duty trucks, SUVs and Jeeps. Available in mild steel, super-slick poly or stainless steel finishes, the HTX Straight-Blade Plow comes in widths of 7 and 7 ½ feet.
Built-in mounting locations for plow shoes and snow deflectors make rigging for options easier and quicker, according to the Iron Mountain, Michigan-based company.
Standard features include the Boss SmartTouch2 Control System and a high-performance, fully enclosed hydraulic system. You can find more details on the series at Boss’s product page.
Meanwhile, as landscaping companies in many parts of the country begin looking toward the end of the growing season – when snow removal becomes a key source of continuing revenue – Boss has new salt and sand spreaders poised for shipping.

VBX 3000 Hopper Spreader
Designed for utility task vehicles (UTVs), the VBX 3000 Hopper Spreader has a 0.38-cubic-yard capacity with a load capacity of 1,000 pounds (including the weight of the spreader and material).
Boss says the Aauger drive system ensures a steady flow of sand or salt at all times. The VBX 3000 Hopper Spreader is capable of a spreading width of 4 to 20 feet.
A standard, heavy-duty vinyl tarp is included, along with bungee tie-downs, to ensure materials stay dry.

With a 3-cubic-yard capacity for 1-ton and over-class trucks, the VBX 9000 Hopper Spreader features corrosion-resistant stainless steel drive-train components.
Customers can choose from both pintle chain and auger feed options.
The Boss LCD Screen Controller is backlit and features dual motor control for quick adjustments on the fly.
A rear-mounted dump switch allows operators to quickly dispose of remaining materials at the end of the day.
