“Kubota proudly manufactures in our facilities in Gainesville, Georgia, a complete line of commercial turf products, consumer lawn and garden equipment and utility vehicles for the U.S. market,” said Rajesh Joshi, Kubota’s director of marketing for turf and RTV products. “We are pleased to join the NHLA in support of their efforts to lead the Hispanic landscape industry, and provide resources to members that help them thrive as effective advocates and influential industry leaders.”

The NHLA was formed in 2011 with the goal of empowering and equipping its members with the tools and resources to help them grow and become more successful professionals. It also seeks to increase the involvement of Hispanic landscape professionals in industry associations and defend their livelihood.

According to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Americans make up more than one third of the landscape industry workforce and 17 percent of its business owners. This is more than twice the national average in both categories.

The association welcomes manufacturers, distributors and dealers to their organization to help them understand their growing Hispanic-American customer base as well as engaging in early conversations about how to best advance their businesses with the most advanced products.

“Kubota is one of the world’s leading manufacturing companies, long recognized for their commitment to excellence and innovation,” said Ralph Egües, NHLA executive director. “For more than 40 years, Kubota has provided landscaping professionals in the United States high quality equipment they can rely on.”

“The NHLA is delighted by Kubota’s interest in the work of the NHLA and desire to work with us to facilitate the professional advancement and business success of our members and industry Hispanics generally,” Egües said. “We are truly delighted that Kubota has joined our association as a supporting member.”

Some of the other supporting members of NHLA include Briggs & Stratton, John Deere, Husqvarna, Kawasaki Engines and Toro. For more about the NHLA, click here.
