Hardscape North America lays out 2016 education programs

With “Year of the Dealer” as its theme, Hardscape North America (HNA) will be co-located with GIE+EXPO again this year. HNA has just released a schedule of educational sessions for Dealer Day, Oct. 19, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. The green industry’s largest trade show opens to all attendees Oct. 20-21.

Educational sessions are planned throughout the show. Those on Dealer Day feature keynote speaker Judy Guido of Guido & Associates, whose presentation is titled “The Future of Now – How to Increase Sales, Profits, Differentiation & Attract World-Class Talent.”

Other speakers during HNA 2016 include:

  • Best-selling author and Gen X, Y and Millennial expert Jason Dorsey, who’ll talk about “Selling Across Generations.”
  • Papa John’s founder & CEO, John Schnatter.
  • S. Olympian Shannon Miller, who’ll speak on “The Gold Medal Mindset.”

During the open days of the show Oct. 20-21, HNA sessions on the show floor will cover topics such as technology for operations, what customers expect of dealers, becoming a more profitable dealer and successful manufacturer, and how to find, interview and hire key employees.

“Dealers are such a vital part of our industry, and I am really looking forward to the show’s increased emphasis on helping them grow,” says this year’s chair of the HNA Dealer Program, Jesse Cravath of Ewing Hardscape Products. “With all of the new sessions and features designed to make dealers more profitable, this is going to be a can’t-miss year. I am especially excited to hear Judy Guido because she has so much rich experience that will be valuable to all of the dealers.”

Registration for the Dealer Education Program, which is sponsored by Belgard and Pavestone, includes trade show admission, presentations, coffee breaks and lunch. An optional HNA Dealer Networking Reception is included in the Dealer Program registration and will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 6:30-8:00pm at Tavern on Fourth in downtown Louisville. In addition, all ICPI, NCMA and BIA members will receive a complimentary pass to the Tuesday evening reception.
