Eterra Attachments has expanded its lineup of Mix-and-Go concrete mixers, which the company says allows for the collection, mixing and pouring of concrete with just one attachment.

The BMX-600 is the newest addition to Eterra’s mixer lineup and boasts a 21-cubic-foot (158 gallons) capacity. The other models, the BMX-100, BMX-250 and BMX-450, feature 3.3-, 9- and 16-cubic-foot capacities, respectively. Though these attachments are marketed toward skid steer owners, they can actually be attached to a number of other machines including telehandlers, front-end loaders, excavators and backhoes. The BMX-100 was designed specifically for mini skid steers.

Eterra president Robert Leib says in a statement the BMX mixer lineup was created for customers who needed a small batch mixer on their job sites “that was larger than the rest.”

“When you are done mixing, you have the choice of the mechanical side chute, the electric center chute with hose or the front dump method to distribute your finished product,” Leib says.

To facilitate full loading capabilities of dry materials, the company says the hopper on these mixers is fitted with the full cutting edge found on standard bucket attachments. A reversible drive system connected to the hydraulics allows an operator to mix and dispense simultaneously. Dry materials can also be added to the mixer manually via a bag cutter.

But, “the biggest selling feature of the BMX models,” according to the company, “is that it doubles as a steel auger/paddle combination. This attachment is suitable to mix virtually any dry material, and the center chute can double as a sand bag filler.”

Other features of the BMX lineup include:

♦ A galvanized side chute and top grate

♦ Spring assisted side gate is a locking mechanism that aids in the actuation.

♦ Completely enclosed and sealed sprocket and chain drive system

♦ Easy lifting grate for easy cleaning

♦ Pad mounting holes for excavators to connect to
