Kubota approves B5 biodiesel fuels in its products

Kubota Tractor Corp. has approved the use of B5 biodiesel fuels in its diesel products. Biodiesel fuels, usually blended with petroleum diesel, are created from vegetable oils such as soybeans and offered as an alternative energy source. The B5 blend of biodiesel approved by Kubota consists of 5 percent biodiesel and 95 percent petroleum diesel.

“We continually work at increasing energy efficiencies within our industry,” says Tetsuji Tomita, president of Kubota Tractor Corp. Kubota approved use of the B5 biodiesel after testing it as a component that meets the requirements of the American Society of Testing and Materials.

For applicable warranty or other information, including a list of current Kubota model tractors approved for B5 biofuel usage, please see your local Kubota dealer.
