Gehl contributes equipment use to “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”

Gehl, which manufactures compact equipment used in construction and agriculture applications, donated the use of a Gehl RS8-44 Telescopic Handler, a Gehl CT6-18 Telescopic Handler and a Gehl 7810E Skid Loader to “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” to help build a new home for the Koepke family of Dundee, Wisconsin.

“We were proud to be asked to participate in a project like this,” says Dan Keyes, vice president of sales and marketing for Gehl. “We have the right equipment to build homes and felt this was one way we could help the family as well as the community get the project complete in the tight schedule that was expected.”

A complete new house was designed and built for the family in about 100 hours with the help of several local companies, 1,500 subcontractors and 1,200 volunteers. The home includes new furnishings as well as new landscaping. The Dundee community also benefited from the renovation of the historic Dundee Mill.

The show is expected to air Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. Central time on ABC.
