ANLA joins immigration forum board of directors

Craig Regelbrugge, senior director of government relations for the American Nursery and Landscape Association (ANLA), has been elected to the board of directors for the National Immigration Forum, which advocates public policies that welcome immigrants and refugees. The forum works to embrace and uphold the tradition of America as a nation of immigrants by ensuring that public policy is supportive and fair to newcomers in the United States.

ANLA is also a co-chair of Agriculture Coalition for Immigration Reform and serves on the steering committee of the Essential Worker Immigration Coalition, two coalitions that make up the main voice of green industry employers in the immigration debate.

“Craig’s election to the National Immigration Forum board reflects both his own deep personal commitment to the green industry and its work force, and also the great strides ANLA has made to establish the association’s credibility and vision on the leading issue of our day,” says ANLA President Joanne Kostecky.

The National Immigration Forum is actively involved in the current legislative debate on immigration reform in Congress. The Forum advocates fair and enlightened immigration policies that strengthen the U.S. economy and policies that help integrate new immigrants into American society.
