Bayer Environmental Science has received registration for the use of Tempo Ultra GC insecticide on landscape plants and golf course turf.
Nate Royalty, insecticide product development manager for Bayer, says Tempo Ultra controls a wide range of pests that infest turf, trees and ornamental plants on residential and commercial sites. “One of the newest pests added to the Tempo Ultra label is emerald ash borer, which has recently been devastating ash trees in several north central states.”
Some insect pests controlled by Tempo Ultra includes aphids, cutworms, flies, grasshoppers, lace bugs, scale and spiders. Tempo Ultra applications may be made to all turfgrass species and to landscape ornamentals such as trees, shrubs, evergreens, flowers and other foliage.
