Nemetschek introduces Spanish-language software

Nemetschek North America has released Spanish-language versions of VectorWorks Fundamentals, Vectorworks Architect and RenderWorks 12.5. VectorWorks 12.5 includes enhancements such as support for Apple Macintosh OS X operating on the new Intel-based Macintosh, Adobe PDF import and export support and support for Google Earth’s KML files. The new versions also boast improved speed and performance.

This update to Spanish is available as a free Web download for users of VectorWorks 12, and free DVDs are available if users pay the shipping fees ($9.95 for U.S. mail). Those with older versions of VectorWorks may pay a small upgrade charge to download the updates depending on what versions they have.

Nemetschek had previously offered a Spanish-language version of VectorWorks through its distributors in South and Central America and Spain, where distributors took the English version of VectorWorks and localized it for their respective markets. Michelle Ervin, marketing manager for Nemetschek North America, says Nemetschek began producing the updated version of VectorWorks in Spanish at its corporate headquarters in Columbia, Maryland, to better serve its Spanish-speaking customers in the U.S. and Mexico.

Vectorworks, the flagship product of Nemetschek North America, is a cross-platform CAD application for entertainment, landscape design and manufacturing fields.
