Exmark Manufacturing has awarded Power Equipment Distributors the Extreme Cup in recognition of PED’s outstanding service in parts distribution and sales last year.
The annual award honors the most outstanding manager or parts department of a company that distributes Exmark products. The warehouse team at PED received the Extreme Cup in a reception in Richmond, Michigan.
“Exmark is the number one commercial manufacturer of riding mowers, so this award means a lot to our company,” says Vice President and Parts Department Manager Tom Weingartz, who accepted the award. “We strive for perfection and to give our customers the best service possible, so to win the Extreme Cup is quite an honor.”
Exmark, which designs and manufactures commercial, walk-behind and riding lawnmowers for landscape professionals, evaluated parts distributors nationwide for the Extreme Cup in categories such as order fill rate to dealers, rate of increase in sales and marketing efforts for Exmark parts.
Mark Aldendifer, parts and accessories marketing manager at Exmark, says PED showed the largest parts sales increase in Exmark’s history. “The people at PED work hard to sell Exmark products,” he says, “and it’s distributors like PED that help Exmark maintain its position as the leading manufacturer of commercial zero-turn, riding mowers.”
