Rain Bird XPCN series nozzle efficient, precise for small areas

The new Rain Bird XPCN Nozzle series provides precise, efficient, commercial-grade, low-volume spray for small areas. The flush-mount nozzle adjusts from a 21/2-foot square to a 4-foot square with one click, and its distribution uniformity makes it capable of spraying edge-to-edge, which results in better soil moisture content.

Designed with standard spray nozzle threads, the XPCN can be installed on any Rain Bird 1800 Series spray head and UNI-Spray Series spray head, Schedule 80 Riser, Xeri-Pop Micro Spray head and Poly Flex Riser Assembly (using the new PFR adapter). The pressure-compensating ability of the XPCN enables it to emit water without mist at maximum operating pressure and regardless of run length.

The true square spray pattern and pressure compensating capability helps the XPCN eliminate overspray caused by spray pattern distortion in smaller areas, which conserves water and maintains performance even with longer runs and fluctuating water pressure.

Jim Patrick, marketing manager for Rain Bird’s Landscape Drip division, says the XPCN series is designed specifically for rectangular or square areas to make design and installation in those areas easier. “Rain Bird’s new XPCN Nozzles are engineered to meet a specific need better than any other product currently available in the market,” Patrick says.
