Irrigation Association launches new interest group

The Irrigation Association (IA) launched a new common interest group with the Nursery and Floriculture CIG. This new group gives nursery and floriculture stakeholders a platform in the water management debate.

The nursery and floriculture industries earn about $9.5 billion in annual sales, so it was evident these two industries needed a group to discuss irrigation best practices and provide training.

The Nursery and Floriculture CIG will hold its first meeting in April by conference call to formalize leadership and discuss future communications for 2008. It is the ninth CIG launched by the IA.
