Case Construction approves use of B20 biodiesel blends

Case Construction announces it has approved the use of B20 blends for more than 85 percent of its construction equipment. B20 blends are 20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent petroleum diesel.

According to Jim Hasler, vice president of Case Construction in North America, using biodiesel reduces the dependency on foreign oil, increases the U.S.-based energy production and can save customers money. Biodiesel is also capable of reducing exhaust emissions.

As biodiesel fuels approved for use must comply with the North American Standard ASTM D6751, Case recommends using biodiesel from BQ 9000 accredited suppliers. For a list of Case equipment approved for B20, contact your Case dealer or visit www.casece.com.
