Due to the large amount of comments concerning the WaterSense Draft Water-Efficient Single-Family New Home Specification, the EPA has extended the period for comments to September 4.
Previously, the comment period was to end on July 21. Several organizations like the Irrigation Association and the International Professional Pond Contractors Association have raised concerns about section 4.0 of the draft, Water Efficiency Criteria.
Industry professionals who wish to view the draft in PDF form can visit http://www.epa.gov/watersense/specs/homes.htm. Those who wish to submit comments or questions should email them to [email protected] by September 4.
