PLANET plans last chance H-2B visit to Capitol Hill

On September 10, several PLANET members will visit Washington, D.C., for a last chance effort at getting the H-2B returning worker exemption passed. PLANET is asking for able members to make the trip or at least visit their district congressional offices.

Currently, Sandy Munley, executive director of the Ohio Landscape Association, and 22 of its members are participating in the fly-in to the capital, as well as H-2B users in Massachusetts, Colorado and New Jersey. The event will begin at 8 a.m. in the Dirksen Senate Office Building (SD), Room 124, First and C Streets, NE.

Professionals planning to go to Capitol Hill should visit PLANET’s Legislative Action Center at www.LandcareNetwork.org to download a form letter to request an appointment for the September 10 visit. Additionally, please contact Tom Delaney with PLANET at (800) 395-2522 or [email protected] so he will know of your arrival.
