Aquascape announced it has created the Aquascape Apprentice Program for contractors who are just breaking into the water features industry and are not ready for the Certified Aquascape Contractor (CAC) program. Participants in the apprentice program will receive a welcome kit, gain access to a message board for networking and educational purposes and have a CAC mentor.
CAC mentors will help an Aquascape Apprentice learn to build and sell water features. Current CACs who want to become mentors must own a CAC company, have been certified for at least two years and be able to work alongside the apprentice to sharpen their water feature construction skills. Mentors will receive continuing education credits toward maintaining certification.
