APLD presents Harry Schuster Service award

Tina Nyce, founding member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD), received the Harry Schuster Service award, given by the APLD board of directors to the person who most reflects the enthusiasm and selfless efforts required to advance the association’s goals.

Nyce, former president and current secretary for the Washington chapter of APLD, was instrumental in forming the state’s chapter. She chaired the 2002 APLD conference in Seattle and has worked tirelessly to support the goals of the national APLD as well as those of the Washington chapter.

APLD President Judy DePue says Nyce’s active involvement in efforts to preserve the rights of landscape designers has not gone unnoticed. “Tina Nyce truly deserves to be recognized as someone who has helped move APLD in a positive direction,” DePue says.
