John Deere’s Construction and Forestry Division is celebrating 50 years in the forestry, construction and work site equipment business.
“Fifty years later, the Construction and Forestry Division serves customers all over the world, with sales of nearly $6 billion,” says Bob Brock, senior vice president of sales and marketing for the John Deere Construction and Forestry Company.
The division produced wheel tractors, crawler dozers and elevating scrapers during its early years. Since then, John Deere Construction and Forestry has expanded and introduced a number of equipment innovations. Brock says the company’s use of the latest technology has helped it improve and pioneer new machines.
“Our first priority is to deliver exactly what our customers want,” Brock says, “and we work to adapt our products to suit their needs.”
