APLD chapter begins in New Jersey

The Association of Professional Landscape Designers has opened a new chapter in New Jersey to serve landscape designers in that region. Existing APLD chapters include California, Midwest Regional, Intermountain Regional, New England Regional, Oregon, Southwest Regional, Washington, Georgia Regional, Oklahoma, Delaware-Pennsylvania Regional and D.C.-Maryland-Virginia.

The New Jersey chapter aims to provide networking and educational opportunities not offered by other organizations. Chapter President Susan Olinger says the chapter will hold design- and business-related workshops and garden tours and sponsor plant sales and community garden projects to increase awareness of APLD in the region.

The chapter’s next meeting will be Feb. 15 at the New Jersey Flower and Garden Show. For details, e-mail [email protected] or call 973-455-3094.
