John Deere is offering its annual Winter Green promotion two months early this year to give professional landscape contractors more time to prepare for the 2007 season.
Winter Green, which runs Nov. 1 through March 31, offers landscape professionals 3.9 percent financing for up to 60 months on any purchase of John Deere commercial equipment.
Sean Sundberg, B2B segment planning manager for John Deere, says many of the company’s professional and commercial customers have begun updating their equipment fleets sooner. “We decided to extend our Winter Green promotion to make the competitive financing rates available while our customers are preparing for the upcoming season,” he says.
Under the promotion, professionals can receive the special financing now and delay the start of their warranty until March 1 or until the use of the equipment begins. Customers can also visit the Winter Green Web site at www.JohnDeere.com/WinterGreen for a chance to win free portable power equipment and a free John Deere T-shirt when they test commercial-grade John Deere equipment.
