Project EverGreen sponsors online community for yard enthusiasts

Project EverGreen has created a new online community, Yard Enthusiasts of America, to promote interaction and provide useful information for yard enthusiasts nationwide. The Web site, www.yardenthusiasts.com, includes blogs about lawn and garden experience and techniques, forums for discussion, lawn and garden tips, photo galleries and contests to win valuable lawn and garden equipment and supplies.

Den Gardner, executive director of Project EverGreen, a national nonprofit organization that promotes the benefits of a well-maintained green space, says YEA offers opportunities to learn and share information on a variety of lawn and garden topics. He describes the community as “a gathering place for anyone who wants to learn about and talk about what’s happening in yards nationwide.”

Visitors to the Web site can sign up to receive a free bimonthly newsletter through email. Users can also enter contests for free prizes. Users can enter to win free prizes, such as a Lesco rotary broadcast spreader.
