Profile Products has chosen John Ferguson as southeastern regional sales manager for Turface Athletics and Profile Golf products.
As regional sales manager, Ferguson will provide expertise and support to customers and distributors on soil solutions for sports fields and golf courses in the southeastern United States including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Mississippi. Ferguson will establish and maintain regional relationships with influencers in the sports field market, as well as with minor league and Major League Baseball (MLB) and NFL groundskeepers.
Before working for Profile Products, Ferguson worked as a sales manager for Lesco in the Charlotte, North Carolina, market. His previous experience also includes working as superintendent of grounds at Davidson College, located in Davidson, North Carolina, as grounds superintendent for the Atlanta Braves affiliate the Richmond Braves and as superintendent and assistant superintendent at golf courses in Florida and South Carolina.
Ferguson received his certification in golf course maintenance from Trident Technical College in Charleston, South Carolina.
