Chemtura is partnering with OHP to market its line of greenhouse and nursery products. Beginning July 2 OHP will market, sell and provide service and technical support for products in the current Chemtura greenhouse and nursery line.
Greg Warren, regional business vice president-North America for Chemtura, says OHP brings the partnership a strong marketing and sales position to expand the brands. “We believe that combining OHP’s strengths with Chemtura’s manufacturing and product registration expertise will result in the best solutions for our customers,” Warren says.
Under the new partnership, Chemtura will continue to manufacture and register the products, while OHP will manage marketing, distribution, sales and support. As existing inventories of finished products are depleted, product packaging will be converted to OHP design formats while keeping established brand names. Chemtura will continue to directly service non-ornamental markets.
Products affected by the agreement include Adept insecticide, B-Nine plant growth regulator, Casoron herbicide (25-pound bags only), Dimilin SC insecticide, Dimilin 25WP insecticide, Floramite SC miticide, Paczol plant growth regulator, Pedastal insecticide, Terraclor 75W fungicide, Terraclor 400 fungicide, Terraguard SC fungicide, Terrazole 35W fungicide and Terrazole CA fungicide.
