Savio Engineering, a manufacturer of advanced water gardening supplies, has moved its operation to a new, larger facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The 44,000-square-foot facility is more than twice the size of Savio’s old building, which enables the company to consolidate its corporate offices, previously in a 19-story bank building downtown, with its warehouse and assembly operations. The company has also hired about 12 new employees in the past two months to fill new support positions.
The new facility’s property on 6.5 acres of land will accommodate future expansion, and the next phase of construction for Savio is planned to begin in 2008.
