Project EverGreen, a national nonprofit organization that represents several members of the green industry, ended 2007 on a strong note. The organization received over 112 contributions from individuals, businesses and associations during 2007.
The organization also saw the completion of several projects last year. It connected over 1,200 community volunteers with over 4,300 families through GreenCare for Troops, worked with Habitat for Humanity to give new homes deserving landscapes and awarded two $2,500 scholarships.
Project EverGreen also kicked off a new program called Yard Enthusiasts of America (YEA!).
