Aquascape and Certified Aquascape Contractors (CAC) will head to Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center for their sixth year of creating water gardens of the future. The water gardens are part of Epcot’s annual International Flower and Garden Festival.
Aquascape and a group of CACs will design and construct six water features for this year’s festival. The displays must follow Disney’s mission of sustainability and environmentally friendly initiatives. Planned features include a rainwater harvesting system, an 11-foot-by-16-foot ecosystem pond, decorative AquaBasin fountains and an indoor feature located in the Garden Festival Center. In addition, all displays are built during the night to not disrupt visitors.
The 2008 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will be March 19 through June 1.
