Scag Power Equipment announces three new appointments within its company. John Crowson is now the president of the company, Chris Frame is the new director of Marketing and Technical Services and Dennis Opalacz was promoted to Scag National Sales Manager.
Crowson succeeds Jerry Bailey who is retiring after 34 years of service with the company. Crowson has 23 years of experience in the outdoor power equipment industry and has been with Scag since 1992. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Southern Illinois University and a master’s degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas.
Frame will be responsible for the marketing and technical service groups’ activities at Scag, where he has been employed since 1996. Frame most recently held the position of manager of Marketing and Strategic Technologies.
Opalacz came to Scag in 2006 as a regional sales manager. He will be responsible for supervising three Scag regional sales managers and the general sales efforts to Scag distributors nationwide.
