Rain Bird is sponsoring the second annual 2008 Intelligent Use of Water film competition to encourage responsible water usage.
Entries must be narrative, documentary, animated, experimental and/or student-made short films of one to 10 minutes in length. Films should highlight ideas and methods to responsibly manage water.
Finalists will be invited to attend a special screening on October 11 at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden. Following the screening, winners will be announced for the Jury Award of $6,000 and the Audience Choice Award of $3,000.
The deadline to enter is September 1. Films should be submitted to www.IUOWFILM.com.
