Two Orlando landscaping firms, and VectorWorks users, received 2007 design awards in the Planning and Analysis category of the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (FLASLA). Morris Architects won the Award of Excellence for the project, “Niteroi Centro Masterplan 2026.” Glatting Jackson Kercher Anglin won the Award of Merit for “Florida Southern College: A Landscape Master Plan.”
Morris Architects’ project centered on the city of Niteroi located outside Rio de Janeiro in Brasil. The firm worked to establish a pattern for managed growth within the city that also identified opportunities for development that worked with the needs of the city.
Glatting Jackson Kercher Anglin’s project outlined a plan for Florida Southern College to blend its historic buildings with future developments.
