The 2008 GIE+EXPO will be October 23-25 in Louisville, Kentucky. Four entertainers have been booked to perform on Thursday and Friday nights. The free concerts will be held at 4th Street Live! in downtown Louisville.
Thursday night’s concert is sponsored by Briggs & Stratton. The Briggs Bluesbusters, made mostly of company employees, will open the show at 6:30 p.m. Headlining is .38 Special, a group that formed in 1975 and has had several hits top the Billboard charts.
Friday night’s show is sponsored by Ariens/Gravely/Stens and starts at 7 p.m. with country newcomer Candy Coburn. Lonestar, a popular country group with eight number No. 1 singles and a collection of other awards, will headline.
