D&K Landscape, Las Vegas, Nevada, earned the Nevada Chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects (NASLA) Award of Excellence at the 2008 Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) Landscape Awards. The award is given for water-smart landscapes created in Southern Nevada.
D&K Landscape won the prize for its Groat Residence project. The Groat Residence is in Anthem Country Club, Henderson, Nevada. The company created an Italian landscape for the Tuscan-style home using cypress and olive tress, Italian travertine columns and grape vines along cobblestone pavers.
