The Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA) names Tyler Smith of Tyler’s Landscaping Service, Rockford, Illinois, the new president for the 2008-09 term. Smith has served on the ILCA Board of Directors since 1998. He most recently held the position of vice president and has also served as secretary-treasurer in 2005 and 2006.
Smith replaces Matt Synnestvedt, who will serve on the board as immediate past president. New ILCA officers include Dan Wanzung of American Gardens, Elmhurst, Illinois, vice president and Bob Bertog of Bertog Landscape Company, Wheeling, Illinois, secretary-treasurer. Joe Hobson of The Brickman Group, Long Grove, Illinois, has been named the new director of ILCA.
