The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) donated $104,000 to Project EverGreen, a nonprofit organization that works to inform the public of the positive effects of well-maintained green spaces. Project EverGreen Board President Chris Kujawa says the donation – the largest in the nonprofit’s history – shows that PLANET recognizes the need for those in the green industry to continue to educate the public about managed green spaces.
Project EverGreen sponsors projects like GreenCare for Troops and YEA! (Yard Enthusiasts of America). The organization is planning to expand into Canada and possibly Europe. For more information, visit www.projectevergreen.com.
