Doosan Infracore International (DII) established its global headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Charlotte was selected based on feasibility studies comparing it with other metropolitan areas like Atlanta, Chicago and Minneapolis.
In November 2007, parent company Doosan Infracore, based in South Korea, acquired Bobcat, Utility Equipment and Attachments from Ingersoll-Rand Company. Following the $4.9 billion dollar acquisition, DII was established, and Bobcat, Doosan Infracore Portable Power and DII Attachments operate as entities of DII.
