Registration open for UMass Extension’s Green School

UMass Extension’s Green School is accepting registration for its 11-day certificate short course for green industry professionals. Taught by UMass Extension specialists and University of Massachusetts faculty, Green School starts November 6 at the Radisson Hotel in Milford, Massachusetts.

The course is held one to two days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., finishing on December 18. Curriculum emphasizes environmental stewardship and integrated pest management as well as horticultural fundamentals. Participants will also choose a specialty track. Three tracks will be offered: turf management, landscape management and arboriculture.

Green School is also helpful for those preparing to take Massachusetts certification exams. For a full schedule, more information or to register, click here. The registration deadline is October 31.
