Nemetschek North America announced the 2009 release of its Vectorworks design software includes Designer, Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Machine Design, Fundamentals and Renderworks. Created with input from Vectorworks customers, the 2009 programs have enhanced usability, improved 3D modeling and optimized workflows.
Powered by Parasolid, a CAD/CAM/CAE modeling kernel from Siemens PLM Software, Vectorworks 2009 has increased 2D and 3D capabilities at speeds up to four to five times faster. Another feature, smart edge snapping, gives users the ability to draw with more precision. The new model includes more than 70 features to help landscapers design with greater flexibility.
