Vectorworks Landmark 2009 updates plant database

Nemetschek North America, makers of Vectorworks software, has partnered with Monrovia, an ornamental plant supplier. This partnership serves to enhance the Vectorworks Landmark 2009 plant database. The number of plants in the database is doubled, and geographic coverage of plants in regions like Florida and California is also improved.

The plant database includes information like persistence, hardiness zone, typical size, leaf and flower characteristics, typical use and tolerance. Information can be used to create plant lists, take off sheets, planting plans and take home sheets. And with the addition of Monrovia plants, landscapers will have no problem sourcing chosen plants, as Monrovia is a national plant supplier.
