Echo names new president

Dan Obringer is the new president of Echo, effective December 1. He replaces Yoshi Nagao, who will return to Japan as president of Kioritz Corporation, Echo’s parent company.

Obringer will be Echo’s first American president. He has been employed by Echo for more than 13 years, serving as the company’s vice president and senior vice president of administration.

Another Echo employee, Steve Bly will be promoted from senior vice president of operations to executive vice president, also effective December 1. Bly has served with Echo for 12 years, and he is a member of the OPEI board.
