Kawasaki announces personnel moves

Kawasaki announced several major personnel moves in its Engines and Power Products Division. Current general manager based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Katsuyuki (Kent) Murakami will retire at the end of this year. He has been with Kawasaki since 1965.

Yoshiteru (Yoshi) Ueda will assume Murakami’s position. Ueda recently headed the research and development program at Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing in Maryville, Missouri. He has been employed by Kawasaki since 1972.

Ueda will move to Grand Rapids in November to work with Murakami through the end of the year.

Fumihiro (Clint) Ohno will move to the position of deputy general manager. Rodger Howe assumes the position of director of operations. Randy Lockyear has been promoted to senior OEM sales manager.
