Wright zero-turn mower includes sitting/standing option
Wright Manufacturing’s Sentar zero-turn mower offers the maneuverability of a standup mower and the comfort of a sit-down. Its padded seat with mono spring suspension support folds out of the way when not in use, allowing more storage room when trailering. Operator Balance Control enables you to shift your weight instantly as terrain changes. With a two-cylinder, 19-plus-horsepower engine, the Sentar moves up to 11 mph forward and 5 mph in reverse. The seat is located behind the engine, and the mower stops immediately when you step off the platform.
JobClock system adds PocketClock for active workers
Exaktime had added the PocketClock to its JobClock system for workers who visit several job sites each day. With the PocketClock, each worker clocks himself in and out using a personalized PIN on the Palm Pilot. At the end of the pay period, all records download into Exaktime’s TimeSummit PC software, and accurate timecards and detailed reports summarized by employee, job site and cost code can be printed, reducing payroll review and preparation time.
Gizmow commercial mower offers front-wheel steering
The Gizmow Formula, a commercial-grade mid-z mower from Gizmow, offers the added control of front-wheel steering. Its patent-pending system connects the front wheel angle with the independent rear wheel power, increasing hillside control while reducing turf damage. The front-wheel steering helps operators mow closer to walls, fences, trees and plants without sacrificing speed over rough or uneven terrain.
Oregon Cutting Systems expands Magnum Gatorline trimmer line
Oregon Cutting Systems has added SuperTwist to its Magnum Gatorline group of trimmer lines. In addition to the features standard on Magnum Gatorline products, SuperTwist has improved cutting efficiency, less wind resistance to reduce engine drag, reduced vibrations and a 15-decibel reduction in noise level compared with traditional round nylon lines.
Tanaka adds portable edger to lineup
The TPE-260PF edger from Tanaka America, which replaces the TPE-250PF, weighs 13.9 pounds and is powered by Tanaka’s new 25 cc PureFire engine. The edger features heavy-duty eight-layer cable, a 23-fluid-ounce clear fuel tank and an 8-inch cutting blade for a 3-inch cutting depth.

The concave shape of the Hiniker Scoop Plow provides greater capacity, less spillage and faster plowing. Available in 8- and 9-foot lengths, the Scoop Plow has 20-degree fixed-angle outer ends to help capture snow. It also has a high-impact polyethylene moldboard that creates a low-friction, corrosion-free plowing service and a 3-section trip-edge with a 9-inch high pivot point to provide maximum protection from curbs and parking barriers.
BackSaver auger reduces weight for easier use
The StoutKart SK500 BackSaver Commercial Auger now features a patent-pending “Lift Assist Mechanism” to reduce the head weight of the auger from 80 pounds to less than 30 pounds. The LAM feature was developed by embedding a spring in the tower of the auger to help offset the weight of the head. The BackSaver Auger is offered with a 10.5-horsepower or 12.5-horsepower Briggs and Stratton motor and includes an oil cooler, electric starter and an 8-inch auger bit.
