From Sept. 12 until 5 p.m. EST on Oct. 21, pre-registration will be $30.
For those who wait to register at the show at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky, Oct. 23-25, the fee will be $60 per person.
Attendees will have the ability to use the Connect Me mobile smartphone app, which will be available through the app store in early October.
The app will allow attendees to locate exhibitors that match their product interests before and during the tradeshow.
Additionally, users can browse the entire exhibitor list, collect exhibitor electronic brochures and manage appointments.
Another tool, Buyer Connect, allows attendees to keep track of the exhibitors they visited, download the company information about those exhibitors, send individual emails to exhibitors contacts and follow up at their convenience.
Before and after the show, exhibitors can use the lead retrieval app CompuLEAD Smart, which enables exhibitors to connect with attendees on and off the floor using their own smart phones.
GIE+EXPO’s Invite-a-Friend program will award an iPad 3 to one winner. To enter, register online; then send an online invitation to a friend. When that person registers, you will be eligible for the drawing.
Lastly, the show will features its $10,000 Friday Giveaway again and will start at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25. Winners must be present to win $1,000 at 1 p.m., $2,000 at 2 p.m., $3,000 at 3 p.m. and $4,000 at 4 p.m. To be eligible, register for GIE+EXPO.
