Cub Cadet routinely markets its products to homeowners as well as commercial users and that certainly holds true for the its snow throwers. And while landscaping companies may find plenty of uses for the 1X and 2X models, it’s the Cub Cadet 3X snow thrower that’s really going to get professionals’ attention.

The 3X is a three-stage snow thrower with patented technology that can handle “winter’s worst nightmares,” according to Andrew Ziemba, product marketing manager for Cub Cadet. With the 3X in hand, the user can “easily and quickly remove 18 inches of snow at a comfortable pace,” the company says in its product literature.

Here’s a few features of the company’s X Series snow throwers, which come with a three-year limited residential warranty and one-year limited commercial warranty:

  • Electric start – available on all Cub Cadet X Series snow throwers.
  • Steering – Several models in the Cub Cadet X Series feature zero-turn power steering.
  • Chutes and hand grips – Cub Cadet offers single-hand, four-way chute control on many of its models and a choice of poly or steel chutes. All 3X models feature heated hand grips.

There’s a lot more detailed information on all three of the X Series snow throwers at Cub Cadet’s website.
