Dow AgroSciences has named Chris Moyer as its marketing communications manager, a position in which he will support the turf and ornamental (T&O) as well as the pest-management business.
Moyer joined Dow AgroSciences in 2011 as a T&O sales representative covering eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Before that, he worked as a golf course superintendent for more than 20 years.
Moyer has a bachelor’s degree in agronomy from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Tiffin University.
Moyer is replaced in his former sales position by Tara Beauregard, who joined Dow Chemical in 2011 as a production scheduler and recently worked as a production planner for Dow AgroSciences.
Beauregard earned a master’s degree in strategic management from Davenport University and served in the U.S. military as a logistical specialist for six years.
In the West, David Martin has been named district sales manager for urban pest management, overseeing seven T&O sales representatives.
Martin has been with Dow AgroSciences since 2009, most recently serving as the product manager for chlorpyrifos and Transform WG insecticide in the Midwest. Martin received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communication from the University of Georgia.
Based in Indianapolis, Dow AgroSciences is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dow Chemical.
