Fred HaskettThe Harvest Group announced recently that Fred Haskett has joined the firm’s consulting team. Haskett has been in the green industry for more than 30 years, working previously with ValleyCrest, Landscape Development and Brickman Group.
Harvest Group says Haskett has extensive experience in operations, finance, sales, marketing and franchising.
Haskett served most recently as vice president of Landscape Development, a $45 million company based in Valencia, California. He spent much of his career with ValleyCrest’s franchise subsidiary, U.S. Lawns, where he was responsible for a group of 28 separate franchise operations covering a nine-state region.
He has actively participated in association boards, committees and advisory groups, including three terms on the board of directors of the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), including two terms as chairman of its lawn care specialty group. Haskett is a certified landscape manager, certified arborist, certified turfgrass professional and a NALP Trailblazer.
As a consultant with Harvest Group, Haskett will work with the Harvest Online Training Academy. His educational work will focus on operational development, strategic planning, change management, acquisition valuation and integration, and multi-unit profit centers.
A consulting firm specializing in the landscaping industry, the Harvest Group has offices on both the East and West Coast and currently does business in 42 states and five countries.
