Vectorworks expands software distribution in Mexico

Design and BIM software developer Vectorworks Inc. recently announced a new partnership with Tecnología Dinámica de México (TDM) to distribute Vectorworks software in Mexico. As part of the partnership, TDM will offer the Spanish-language Logotype Nemetschekversions of Vectorworks Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Designer and Fundamentals software, as well as the complete product line in English. Vision software from Vectorworks will also be available from TDM in English.

TDM joins the Vectorworks distribution network as the sole distributor in Mexico and brings the total global network to 35 distributors, the software company said.

Landscape supply company adds delivery options

Select Delivery, a Colorado regional landscape supply company, will now be offering tandem trucking services. Previously, bulk sand delivery was offered only via full semi-truck.

Many locations, particularly residential properties, are too tight to be serviced by a full-scale semi-truck, according to Select Delivery. The company says that while its new tandem trucks can bring in only about half of the material per load, the deliveries can be made in much tighter locations.

With the addition of tandem trucks to the fleet, Select Delivery will now be able to service twice the population, the company says.

The company offers regular deliveries of stone, topsoil, compost, mulch and other products.
