Festive Flair

Updated Dec 17, 2013

Although the client originally wanted an all-white Christmas light design, Holiday Creations suggested using a little color because of the house and landscape’s large size. They kept the lights on the house white but used a touch of red in the trees to give the project the elegant look the client preferred, while adding a bit of flair. To make sure the client would have enough power to keep the lights on all season, Holiday Creations used LED lights.

These lights reduced the power consumption and the chances of GFCI tripping because of the lower amount of amperage they drew. The crew used 5-diode LED C9 bulbs for the roofline and 5-millimeter LED mini lights for the trees and bushes. Lighted wreaths and garland hanging from the windows and door tied the house in with the surrounding greenery.
